OPC EIE

The OPC EIE supports controllers whose data is maintained by an OPC server. The OPC EIE uses the OPC Comm device to communicate with an OPC server. OPC is a client/server technology. One application acts as the server providing data, and the other acts as a client using data. The CygNet OPC EIE acts as an OPC client.

Note: The OPC remote device EIE can only be paired with the OPC Comm device. The devices are non-functional without this exact combination.
